Why detox?

Hello guys, after all the parties and all the food we went trough in the end of the year, i suggest a detoxifying diet to start the new year feeling lighter and healthier ;)

We should first try to detox our organism before any diet or food reeducation. I did a research and there are certain kind of food which will help our body to eliminate the toxins from industrialized food, sugar, fat  and aswell alcohol and cigarettes! Here are some suggestions:

Oi gente, depois de todas as festas e todas as comidas deliciosas do fim do ano, eu sugiro uma dieta desintoxicante  para começar o novo ano sentindo-se mais leve e saudável ;) Deveríamos sempre desintoxicar o nosso organismo antes de qualquer outra dieta ou reeducação alimentar. Fiz uma pesquisa e encontrei  alguns alimentos que ajudam o nosso corpo a eliminar as toxinas das comidas industrializadas, açúcar , gorduras e também dos vícios como alcool e cigarros!!! Aí vão algumas sugestões:

1. Salmon!

This fish is rich in omega 3,6 and 9. They are all anti inflammatory ingredients which will help the organism to recover its vital functions .


Esse peixe è rico em ômega 3, 6 e 9. Todos eles ajudam no processo anti inflamatório que vai ajudar o organismo a recuperar suas funções vitais.


2.Green tea!

This is a great anti inflammatory and antioxidant tea which helps aswell to reduce the fat in the blood.

Chá verde!

Esse chá è também um ótimo anti-inflamatório e antioxidante que ajuda a reduzir a concentração de gorduras no sangue.


3. Avocado!

As well as detoxing antioxidants, avocado is also very high in both insoluble and soluble fibre. This helps to cleanse the colon and carry toxins out of the body.


Ele contém antioxidantes desintoxicantes e também tem alto valor de fibras solúveis e insolúveis que ajudam a limpar o cólon e eliminar as toxinas do organismo.



Its properties makes the ginger a very powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory ingredient too.


As propriedades do gengibre também fazem dele um poderoso antioxidante e anti-inflamatório .


5. Integral food!

The concentration of fiber in this kind of food will help our organism to eliminate toxins . Furthermore it helps the organism to feel satisfied for a longer time,  which means you will not feel the need to consume to much sugar and other unhealthy ingredients .

Comida integral!

A grande concentração de fibras nesses  alimentos ajudam o nosso organismo a eliminar as toxinas. Além disso, ajuda o organismo a se sentir satisfeito por um tempo mais longo,o que significa que näo sentiremos a necessidade de consumir muitos docinhos durante o dia ;)


6. Coconut water!!

This is my favourite one, but sadly in Europe is not that easy to find :( Anyway, if you manage to find a small box in any supermarket around the world, i suggest you grab it before someone else . Its a powerful antioxidant and hydrates the organism helping the kidneys functions.

Água de coco!!

Esse è o meu ingrediente preferido, mas infelizmente não è muito fácil de encontrar aqui na Europa. Entretanto, quando consigo achar um supermercado que venda água de coco na caixinha, eu sou a primeira  a encher o carrinho e fazer um grande estoque na dispensa ;)  Ela è um poderoso antioxidante e hidrata o corpo ajudando no funcionamento dos rins.


7. Water!

In Brasil we use to say ‘ who doesnt have the dog , will hunt with the cat’, :)  coconut water is a blessing but the normal water is essencial for the organism’s vital functions. Would be great to have the water with PH above 8 , which will make the detox properties even higher. Anyway plenty of water will help our body to eliminate all the toxins.


No Brasil dizemos que ‘quem não tem cão caça com gato’. A água de coco è uma maravilha mas a água normal è essencial para as funções vitais do organismo. Ainda melhor se ela tiver um PH maior que 8, que aumentará os efeitos desintoxicantes. De qualquer maneira beber muuuuitaaa água ajudará o nosso corpo a eliminar as toxinas.


Everyone can benefit from consuming more whole food sources of this nutrients. I’ve been reading some advices from nutritionists and  if you’re feeling tired, groggy, have frequent headaches, mood swing or allergies .. it can be that your body needs a boost of detoxifying diet!

Todos nós podemos ter benefícios ingerindo esses alimentos. Eu tenho pesquisado conselhos de alguns nutricionistas e se você está se sentindo cansado, com dores de cabeça frequentes, mudanças de humor e alergias.. pode ser que você precise de uma super dieta desintoxicante!!
